Pond Hockey Classic Policies
Team entries will not be processed without full payment.
All participants will be required to sign waivers and provide photo ID (proof of age) upon registration. Any player in violation of the minimum age requirement will forfeit their place in the tournament. Any team playing with an underage or unregistered player will be disqualified from the tournament and will not receive a refund.
A player will only be allowed to play for one team in the tournament.
The PHC reserves the right to add or delete rules; all teams will be informed of changes prior to the start of the tournament.
The PHC committee reserves the right to prohibit any player or team from participating if they are deemed to cause safety concerns.
Refund Policy
NEPHC Refund Policy:
The team fee is $1,100. Teams will be required to pay in full to reserve their spot for the 2025 tournament. Team registration includes a non-refundable deposit of $200 for the 2025 New England Pond Hockey Classic.
Teams deciding to pull out after November 15, 2024, will not receive a registration fee refund.
If the event is canceled for any reason (COVID-19, weather, or unsafe ice conditions) 44 to 30 days prior to the tournament, teams have the option to receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee or apply the 2025 registration fee, less the $200 non-refundable deposit, to the 2026 NEPHC tournament registration fee.
If the event is canceled for any reason (COVID-19, weather, or unsafe ice conditions) 29 to 10 days prior to the tournament, teams have the option to receive a refund of 25% of the registration fee or apply the 2025 registration fee, less the $200 non-refundable deposit, to the 2026 NEPHC tournament registration fee.
If the event is canceled for any reason (COVID-19, weather, or unsafe ice conditions) 10 to 5 days prior to the tournament, 25% of your 2024 registration fee will be applied to expenses incurred, and 75% of your 2025 registration fee will be applied to the 2026 NEPHC tournament registration fee, however, no refunds will be able to be given.
If the event is canceled for any reason (COVID-19, weather, or unsafe ice conditions) less than 5 days prior to the tournament or during tournament weekend, 50% of your 2025 registration fee will be applied to expenses incurred, and 50% of your 2025 registration fee will be applied to the 2026 NEPHC tournament registration fee, however, no refunds will be able to be given.
The Pond Hockey Classic is not liable for your team's travel expenses, such as but not limited to air travel, lodging expenses, auto rental, and personal auto travel. Most travel entities offer low-cost travel insurance when booking.

Weather Policy
The Pond Hockey Classic does everything in its power to host our events, however, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature. We hold the right to change venue, tournament structure/schedule, and number of games should the conditions merit. Our goal is to play the tournament in a safe and efficient manner for our participants and spectators.
