NEPHC Saturday's Games Adjusted

Well, this was a day of hockey we will never forget. You are a bunch of hardy souls but tomorrow mornings temperatures might just prove to be a little too much. After consulting with team captains, we have decided to delay the start of games on Saturday to 12:00 pm. Winds are forecasted to subside around mid-day which will make being on the ice more enjoyable.

We have decided the best way to handle a shortened day is to reduce the length of games from two fifteen-minute halves to one fifteen-minute game. The games start at 12:00 pm. Games will follow every 20 minutes. Games will run for fifteen minutes with five minutes between games. Teams please make note of your rink assignments as teams who play back-to-back games will have five minutes to transition to your next rink before the horn goes off. Playing four games as originally planned will maintain the integrity of the tournament structure and allow us to better determine playoffs come Sunday.

Shuttles will run from 11 am to 5:30 pm from Event Parking Lots at Laconia Harley, Hart's Turkey Farm, Downtown Meredith behind Bootleggers, and Prescott Park. No Parking at Middleton/LaValleys!

We look forward to seeing everyone on the ice tomorrow afternoon. The Coors Light Chill Zone, Common Man Food, Crown Royal activation and DJ Furious will be spinning some tunes from 12:00 to 4:30. Please remember the temperatures are still going to be cold and we hope you take the necessary precautions to have another safe day on the ice.
