Which One Will Your Team Win?

2011 Pond Hockey Classic Divisions

Open Division: The Open Division is the most competitive division made up of men and women 18 years old or older. Players must turn 18 by February 4th, 2011 in order to be eligable to play in this division. This division includes individuals who have competed at a high level of play comprised of good high school players, ex-college players, ex-junior and ex-professional players. To earn the bragging rights of Pond Hockey Classic Champion, this is the division you must win!

30+ Division: The 30+ Division is for men and women who are above the ages of 30 years. Players must turn 30 by February 4th, 2011 in order to participate in this division. This division is semi-competitive so be ready to put it all on the line if you want to earn the title of the 2011 Pond Hockey Classic 30+ Division Champions! Looking for something a little less competitive check out the Just For Fun Division under 35 and 35+!

40+ Division: The 40+ Division is for men and women who are above the age of 40 years. Players must turn 40 by February 4th, 2011 in order to participate in this division. This division is semi-competitive so we suggest some stretching before games to ensure you last till the Championship Game. Looking for something a little less competitive check out the Just For Fun Division under 35 and 35+!


The Legend Division: The Legend Division is 50+ for men and women who are over the age of 50. Players must turn 50 by February 4th, 2011 in order to participate in this division and gain the right to be called a Legend. This division is semi-competitive and we would hope so because the older these guys get the better they were! Looking for something a little less competitive check out the Just For Fun Division under 35 and 35+!

The Old Timers Division: The Old Timer Division is 60+ for men and women who are over the age of 60. Players must turn 60 by February 4th, 2011 in order to participate in this division and to earn the distinguished honor of being labeled an Old Timer. This division is semi-competitive because we know all the Old Timers can still play.

Just for Fun Division:Under 35: The Just for Fun Division is for men and women under the age of 35 who just want to come out, strap the skates on and have a great time. We envision the competitive nature of this division to be minimal but we also know deep down each hockey player has a burning desire to win, so there will be competition. Players must be under the age of 35 by February 4th, 2011 in order to participate in this division. In this division everyone wins; However we will crown a Champion!

Just for Fun Division:35+: The Just for Fun Division is for men and women 35 years of age or older who just want to come out, strap the skates on and have a great time. We envision the competitive nature of this division to be minimal but we also know deep down each hockey player has a burning desire to win, so there will be competition. Players must be over the age of 35 by February 4th, 2011 in order to participate in this division. In this division everyone wins; However we will crown a Champion!

Womens Division: By popular demand we are adding a womens division to the 2011 tournament. This is a division for all those lady's who love the sport of hockey and want to come out and show em what they got! This division is 18+, all players must be 18 or older by February 4th, 2011 in order to participant. What team will be crowned the first ever Pond Hockey Classic Women's Division Champion in 2011!


Team fee for each division: $500 a team

4 v 4 Round Robin Action!

Teams in the Open, 30+, 40+ and Legend Division can have a maximum of 6 players on their roster. Teams in the Just for Fun division can have a maximum of 8 players on their rosters.

These maximums are set in stone with no exceptions! They are in place to to maintain the integrity of the event in regards to fatigue levels throughout the games and weekend.
Participants can only play on one team!
