2010 New England Pond Hockey Classic

In our first year the New England Pond Hockey Classic saw 77 teams compete on 7 rinks over the course of a 3 day event, February 5th-7th. With baby blue skies and beautiful sunshine, teams battled across 5 division for a chance to be crowned 2010 New England Pond Hockey Classic Champions and for a chance to hoist Lake WinnipeHockey's Cup.

Early Sunday Afternoon five teams earned this title,
in the Open Division the Paddy's from Lexington, MA,
in the 30+ Division the Frozen Hacks from Franklin, MA ,
in the 40+ Division The Bumbles from Alton, NH, 
in the Legends Division The Bud Heavies from Newburyport, MA and
in the Just for Fun Division Montreal Todd from Woburn, MA all raised Lake WinnipeHockey's Cup above their heads.

All five of these teams are the first to be carved into the this coveted trophy.
Will these teams be back to defend their title in 2011 or will another team earn the title of New England Pond Hockey Classic next year?
